Kirsten Dirksen: Beyond Photovoltaics: Rebirth of the Other Solar Power: "The largest series of solar installations in history, is currently being planned for the Southern California desert, will rely on CSP technology. The deal between BrightSource (a reincarnation of Luz International) and Southern California Edison will, when completed, provide more than 1,300 megawatts of electricity, enough to power 845,000 homes."
